The Institute of Fundraising Technology Special Interest Group has announced its fourth annual one-day conference, on May 14th in London. Howard Lake of UK Fundraising is the keynote speaker, with twelve seminars to choose from on Implementing CRM, Online Fundraising and Web 2.0, and Technology Management. Speakers include individuals from Cancer Research UK, Help The Aged, Tate, Medecins Sans Frontieres, JustGiving and Artez Interactive.
The conference is aimed at anyone involved with fundraising and technology: fundraisers, webmasters, web editors, database people and IT support staff. Topics includes:
- Implementing a Single Supporter View,
- Using CRM for Informed Fundraising,
- How to make the most of online fundraising,
- Data Management on a Shoestring and
- Why ITTs are a Bad Thing!
The cost, including lunch and refreshments, is only £50 for Institute NFP members, £65 for non-members and £100 for consultants/companies. There are also bursaries for a limited number of smaller charities. There is an after-event Networking Reception to discuss issues with other delegates and some of the speakers, and enjoy a few free glasses of wine.
